Pathways to Prosperity

In partnership with the City of Aurora, Waubonsee Community College, the Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce, and school districts 129 (West Aurora), 131 (East Aurora), 204 (Indian Prairie), and 308 (Oswego), Pathways to Prosperity has created education-to-career pathways for our students interested in opportunities in advanced manufacturing, health sciences, and information technology. Manufacturing Careers Internship Program
Too few of today’s youth are knowledgeable of the high-paying career opportunities available in the manufacturing sector. The Manufacturing Careers Internship Program. MCIP exposes young adults to careers in manufacturing from the ground up, across all departments, and within their own communities. Contact the Aurora Regional Chamber of Commerce to participate.

Leadership Academy

Established in 1979, the Aurora Chamber’s Leadership Academy has a rich history of providing confidence, knowledge, professionalism, and strong leadership skills that not only benefit the attendee but also their employers. The goal is simple: To create a development opportunity for graduates to serve and enhance themselves, their employers, and the community. Waubonsee Community College Workforce Development 

Whether sharpening the skills of one employee or an entire team, Waubonsee Community College can help. The Workforce Development Division offers professional development courses that cover topics from computer software to warehousing. If you're looking to train a larger or group or solve a particular business problem, you may be better served by the business training program.
